Lots of room - stylish and light Nov 24, 2008

I have this bag in black, and it is simply great. It has soooo many storage places. It is soft and not stiff, and even though it's synthetic leather, I'll take that any day over the patent, which can be stiff on some other bags. It is not too small, but is not as big as some of the larger totes out there. For me, the size is just right. The only problem I have is with the shoulder straps, which don't seem to stay on my shoulders, but that could be a genetic issue! I love the outside gusset pockets for cell phone and lipgloss, and the outside flap is great for quick-grab items. There is also an outside zip pocket. Inside there is an unbelievable amount of storage - inside zipper divider between two spacious compartments, great for bulky wallets or sunglasses. There is a wall zipper and 3 wall slip pockets, which I put my ipod in. Love, love, love it!!

this is by far the best purse i have ever had, and I buy purses a lot.....it is roomy, not to big...love the pockets...get tons of compliments on it and it is a Kathy purse for which i love...this is my 3rd kathy purse and myfavorite..I love the color//peacock too.....just perfect in everyway...I am truly very happy with it...

This is my third Kathy bag and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It is beautiful as well as functional. The outside pocket has a magnetic snap which is really handy and a perfect place to keep my keys or cell phone. It also has a zipper pocket in the back of the purse which also works great for keys or other items that I reach for often but don't want to risk losing. The interior gold lining is a nice contrast against the outside of the purse and because of its light color, it's easy to find things quickly. The interior also has one zipper pocket on one side, a zippered divider in the middle, and then a cell phone slip pocket and two other slip pockets which are perfect for my sunglasses and Altoid mints. Because of all of these compartments, the weight is balanced and the purse not so heavy even when loaded with personal items. Also, it leaves a lot of space for the rest of my things. I bought it in the cork color which is a beautiful taupe color with slightly darker accent areas, and all of the hardware is silver toned.
I want to note, contrary to the other reviewers, the handles DO stay on my shoulders with no trouble.. I'm not sure if it's because I fill my purses? I'm petite and have small shoulders.
I highly recommend this purse.

This bag sure holds a lot of stuff! I've had it for nearly a year now and it is showing no signs of wear. Most times this purse is holding a plethora of heavy items (camera, gps, giant ring of keys, baby wipes, candy, all sorts of mom stuff) and it hasn't started to rip! That is amazing for me, as I'm very unkind to my bags.
The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that it doesn't stay on my shoulder. I don't have weird droopy shoulders, it isn't a problem with other bags. But - this bag does have handles that are a bit thicker so it's no so bad to handle otherwise.
I'm seriously tempted to order it in another colour as I love this so much.
