Perfect for a teen! Jun 06, 2010

I purchased this tote for my thirteen year old niece. She's a typical teen who likes to be "in style" but tends to gravitate towards "artsy" pieces being a budding artist herself. She's into anime so I figured she'd love this bag to use it as a weekender for a four day trip we were taking to Miami. I was right.
While the tote doesn't zip at top, it serves it's purpose as a good carry on when it's not full to capacity as the top portion will fold over when placed in the airplanes overheard bins. The front pockets are very roomy and the large inside pocket is HUGE! We were able to fit the clear bag containing TSA compliant bottles. This makes it easy to pull them out once going through security checkpoints. The other uses for this bag are limitless: beach bag, overnight bag, school bag, shopping tote (so you can stay green!)
The handle on the tote isn't huge. She's very petite so it was perfect for her but if I were to use this bag I would not be able to wear it on my shoulder comfortably but then again I'm not anywhere near as petite as she is.
The obvious "perk" to the bag, of course, is how stylish it is. Given the many uses she can get out of this bag & the price at which Amazon offered it, I felt this was almost a GIVE AWAY! She loves it!
