Good organization and soft leather Oct 01, 2009

I just HAD to try a B. Makowsky bag. I have seen them in a local department store and was impressed with the leather. I chose this one for the zip top and outside pockets, both of which are number one in importance on my list. The leather is very soft BUT it is untreated or naked leather. So, stains, ink, etc. cannot be removed without removing the color. The bottom does not have metal "feet" which is not a good idea. Yes, you can rub out scratches with your finger but if you get something on the leather, it is there forever. I kept the bag with the knowledge I have to be very careful. Nice size, design and organization. The bag itself is lightweight with the exception of the super heavy hardware latches on the front pockets. And, one of the latches is hard to press in to release.

The color wears off the leather where you would put it down, it doesn't clean well. the color comes off on the cleaning cloth..I am not the gentlest person with bags but I never had problems with my coach bags or even with my Tignanello bags (which are half the price). It is almost like it had no sealer put on top of the color. I wont be buying any more Makowsky bags

I got this handbag and I love it. The leather is soooo soft and the interior is beautiful. perfect for everyday use. I chose black because I look forward to many year of wear.

purchased this item as a gift for someone and was quite surprised at how beautiful the bag was in hand; the leather is incredibly soft and the straps were long enough for shoulder carry and a good length for hand carry. The satchel had alot of space for everything and the buckles on the front opened easily and amazon had it here just in time. The birthday present went over well. I don't own one but I can say that after having one in hand I do look at them online more often.

I have this bag in Lipstick and Mint. Soooooooooooooo soft and the bag is large enough to hold all of my things without being overbearing. I love all of the pockets and especially the cellphone pocket on the back. It makes it so much easier to answer the phone. I'm buying a 3rd right now. Just can't decide what color!
