 Beautiful medium size bag! Oct 19, 2009

I recently received this bag from Amazon and I must say it exceeded my expectations. I have the Cobalt color which is a gorgeous medium shade of blue. The leather is soft and luxurious and the hardware is a beautiful satin-finished silver color on the buckle. I was concerned about the length of the shoulder strap, but found it to be perfect. The bag arrived quickly and in great condition. It did lack the dust cover which is normally included inside the B. Makowsky bags. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement bag with the included dust cover by overnight delivery. Amazon is a fantastic place to shop. I've purchased two B. Makowsky bags from them, and would not hesitate to get a third (or fourth!). I highly recommend this brand of handbag. You won't regret your purchase if you decide on one. Thanks Amazon for making this a great shopping experience.

"Purse lover"
I had entered a review of this purse a few days after receiving it and it was great...for about two weeks. Then today, I was out shopping with my new B. Makowsky bag on my arm and the strap just snapped away from the metal hardware on the side. The hardware actually broke off in pieces. Right away, I called Amazon and they said no problem they will refund me. These bags are beautiful but the metal hardware weighs them down, just too heavy. I'm going to try the Makowsky Lite bags that just came out. Maybe with the lighter purses there won't be this problem. Buyer beware.

 Doesn 't fit over my shoulder with a coat Nov 06, 2009

I was disappointed in this bag. Although the product details say it has an 11" shoulder drop, I measured it and the drop is more like 8". For me, that makes it awkward to wear the bag over my shoulder while wearing a winter coat. In addition, I found the hardware on the bag (the lock) to be too heavy for the supple leather, and the sliding clasp on the front pocket hard to operate. The quality of the bag is otherwise excellent, typical of the brand. I'm returning mine for the reasons given.

This is my first Makowsky purchase, and i love the soft light leather. I purchased marble blue and i wasn't sure if I got the right color. But when I got it I loved the color for it is soft blue and will blend in with any outfit. The bag is very light, which says that the leather must be of high quality. It has a lot of pockets and a lot of room for personal items. It was a good under $100 deal.

Great bag! The color is wonderful, and of course the leather is soft being a B makowsky.I love the size, it is not to small and not to big. It is also lighter weight than some of my other BM bags, that have too much hardwear and increase the weight. The side pockets are perfect for cell phones and keys.
