I bought this bag in the Brandy color and I absolutely love it! The leather is soft and the hardware is easy to use. I've been carrying a black tote-like bag (but not a tote) about the same size as this one for grad school and undergrad for several years and I loved being able to carry a book and couple notebooks, water bottle, wallet, keys, pens, brush, lipgloss, and other small essentials. I've been looking for a more professional-looking bag for everyday use that had the same carrying capacity and this fulfills all my requirements. I didn't find this bag heavy and I'm not a particularly strong or athletic person. I can see how one of the previous users found the hardware hard to use and the bag to lack structure, because it would slouch over when it doesn't have as much stuff in it, making it harder to close the hardware. I didn't find this to be an issue because the reason I bought a bag this size is because I need the room to carry all of my stuff. This practical bag has become my new primary bag for everyday use!

I have this bag for more than a month now.
It is true that its a little bit heavy, but its practical, very pretty and goes with everything.
Would have given it 5 stars if not foe the weight.

The bag is hard to access due to the leather puddle it turns into when it must stand up. The hardware, while pretty, is a pain to use. A snap underneth would be easier to use. This is all fashion, no function.
